What’s the difference between PIR and PUR?

Both PUR and PIR are a kind of rigid PU. However, they have different physical properties and chemical properties. I . Difference between the raw material Rigid PU consists of polyol and isocyanate. Polyol can be divided into polyether glycol and polyester polyol. Reaction between polyether glycol and will generate polyurethane foam(PUR); Reaction between polyester polyol and isocyanate will generate polyisocyanurate foam(PIR). II. 1. Insulation Performance  Insulation performance of the wall cladding system depends on the raw materials of the insulation layer.
